Re: Moreneau

<t>I mentioned quite awhile ago Morneau was going to be traded this year. The trade worked out for both teams. MN saves a good chunk of change (I don't think we pay the rest of his salary), Morneau gets to go to a contender. He was fantastic in his prime, but those days are long gone, especially wit...

Re: It starts tonight.....

Missed the game but I saw Patterson and Cassel put up decent numbers. Anything stand out from Patterson or anyone else worth noting?

Re: Top 50 prospects

Walker, Vargas, Santana, Pinto-all having great years too. Do you guys think they put Buxton up with Sano or bring Walker up before year's end?

Young arms: good and bad

<t>There are a ton of great young players out there-seems to be way more than usual. The position players are holding up really well-there are going to be some new superstars in this league in a hurry. We are also seeing a TON of great pitching from rookies this year-not only from hyped up guys but ...

Re: TimberWolves Optimists

<t>whether you like the moves made or not, this team obviously has a ton of depth. With a great coach that knows what he's doing, depth (even if it seems like too much) does a couple great things. Not only is it a safety net for injuries if someone does go down, it keeps guys fresh, leaving a smalle...

Re: Projected 2015 line up

sadly enough, I think Pelfrey and Worley will both still be around in 2015.

Re: Projected 2015 line up

I don't like Pelfrey either, and I hope he is gone next year. But I can easily see them keeping him to battle with Worley for the 5th spot.

Re: Projected 2015 line up

<t>I like your guy's optimism with the young arms being ready by then or picking up quality SP free agents, but I don't see either happening. I think 2016 will be when Berrios and Stewart are ready. You might see Meyer or May by then, if all goes well. Here's my 2015 rotation:<br/> <br/> Gibson<br/>...

Re: Caleb Thielbar

Just wanted to chime in on this conversation. I from MN and played college ball as well-also amateur wood bat league. Now I live in CA and quality summer leagues are few and far in between. Long-how's the league where you're at? Sorry to invade-just miss playing ball.

Re: Twins pitchers under the age of 20

good post man-the Twins have set themselves up nicely for the next 8-10 years. When was the last time we could say that? Where you from in CA...I live in Bakersfield...
