Re: Draft prospects - Who do we want?

<r><QUOTE author="Camden"><s>[quote="Camden"]</s>Regardless of who we draft, I'd like to see us sign Ed Davis away from LA. Wonder what it'd take to sign him; couldn't be more than $5M per. PF/C who can provide dunks, defense and dirty work. The three Ds of scrappy big men. Also not bad in P&R a...

Re: GDT: Wolves vs. Mavs - Getting Over the Hump Day

<t>I didn't think that Wiggins looked particularly bad today. He was not hitting shots, including several open threes but that can happen to anyone. I think the biggest factor in his comparatively low shooting percentage the past two games is that he is getting fewer calls when there is contact goin...

Re: Nate Wolters?

<t>Yes please. We need to do something to address our roster imbalance. We have a dearth of rotation level bigs and healthy point guards and a relative glut of wing players. I'd like to pick up Wolters off waivers. He can actually play point at replacement level and is signed to a nice cheap deal th...

Re: Seriously what are the 76ers doing?

<t>I too like our roster going forward a lot better than the 76ers. They do have a lot of draft picks yet to make and will have cap space going forward so there is the potential for improvement. That said their roster right now is pathetic, and losing is a habit you don't want to establish. Even the...

Re: Summer League - Game 3 - Wolves v. Bulls

<t>I agree the wolves are looking like a pickup team. Anyone think that's partly on our assistant coaches? Isn't the idea of summer league for guys to work on things? Instead we're practicing making bad decisions, playing iso ball, and no defense. I don't see how establishing these kind of habits he...

Re: Game 2 - Wolves v. Wizards

<t>On the positive side I thought LaVine looked a lot better than last game. He was much more in control and really seemed to make an effort to use his quickness to get to the line. He still needs to cut down on some of those silly bad turnovers but I take them with a grain of salt because it is sum...

Re: Summer League-Game 1

Also we've built the weirdest summer league team I''ve seen in a while. We basically seem to have no PGs and no PFs so we're playing with a center and a bunch of wings at almost all times. It's not surprising that ball movement and defensive rebounding are suffering.

Re: Summer League-Game 1

I think our front court is looking pretty bad, Dieng included. He's getting beat in the post routinely by summer league players and has been outmuscled for rebounds on both ends. I know he's been sick but it's not very encouraging.
