I liked the Butler trade a whole lot, but not sure I like swapping Rubio for Teague. I get that Teague is a better fit, but I think Rubio is the better player, plus you lose cap space in the deal. I would rather improve elsewhere than do a lateral move and have less cap options.

Tell me why free agents don't go sign in the weak east. Are they stupid?

Danny Ainge had the assets to get Butler or George and still have a ton left over and failed. I think he's a good GM, but he has played his hand poorly in a very winnable eastern conference.

3 year deal works for me.

You don't make this move unless you're confident you have a replacement in place.

With Rubio gone I would have to think the Wolves have some sort of idea that they'll be able to land a free agent PG.
