Re: Lynx talk

Do we own any first round picks next year beside our own? I'd like to see Hannah Hidalgo team up with Miles again. They traded away the 2027 2nd round pick in the Carrington trade. Moving future draft picks in draft day or around the draft seems somewhat common in the WNBA so maybe they could make ...

Re: Lynx talk

Reeve can steal all the flowers from my garden if she wants. Let's be honest, the WNBA is still light years away from the men's game as far as the way it's managed and covered. And that means that a few really smart people can stand out even more. The Lynx are the pinnacle of WNBA basketball, in la...

Re: Lynx talk

Lynx destroy the Mercury by 30+ to win the first commissioner cup game. Just beautiful beautiful basketball I've only caught one of their games and know very little about the women's game, but Olivia Miles popped off the screen like Ricky Rubio used to in his early years. The Lynx are on a heck of ...

RIP Rick Adelman

He was a heck of a coach and I was pretty excited when he came to the Wolves. It's almost weird that he never coached again after that.

After he left the Kings in 2006 they have had 13 head coaches and the only one with a winning record? Some guy named Mike Brown.

Re: Wemby vs KAT

Interesting that the Spurs are 2 to 1 favorites given how dominant the Knicks have been the past 3 weeks. Just like the Spurs were the smart bet with the Thunder being 2 to 1 favorites, the Knicks have to be the smart bet here. That said, I still like the Spurs to win this series. We all gotta have...

Re: Wemby vs KAT

I'm happy for both of these guys, their teams, and their fans. These fans You can hate New York City all you want, and you can roll your eyes at the courtside celebrities, but the average Knicks fan is a fucking maniac and I salute them all. As for the Spurs fans, they've had so much success over t...

Re: 2026 draft

I'll add this to the draft discussion. The Spurs have a starter in Julian Champagne that was undrafted and is now a core member of their team. There are a variety of ways to add legit talent to the roster. Fortunately Connelly has found some ways to add players outside of draft picks. There are some...

Re: 2026 draft

You might be right Monster, but Connelly has proven to be a much more adroit operator in trading for vets (both old and young) than making good draft picks. He's also seen enough of how Finch operates now that it will likely be difficult for a rookie to get any meaningful playing time. I tend to le...

Re: 2026 draft

If we keep trading future picks AND not making picks we have available to us the end result of such a lopsided practice….not good. You have to keep taking shots at youth even if they don’t play next year. The argument that Finch doesn’t develop talent is ludicrous. Throwing a kid out there who isn’...

Re: 2026 draft

My guess is that TC will package #28 with Randle and perhaps other assets in a draft-day trade. Failing that, I see him trading down from #28 for a couple second round picks (one this year and another in a future year). Based on TC’s track record and the nature of this year’s draft, I think it’s hi...
