Re: Remaining Two Roster Spots

You were right all along re: Bones....I guess he was sort of "Plan D" as far as free agent PGs go, as no one else was willing to sign here.... I think Finch is going to have a tough time limiting Shannon to 8th man minutes. I really have high hopes for him and he could give Finch (and Con...

Re: Remaining Two Roster Spots

Amir Coffey finally gets a landing spots signing with the Bucks. I'd assume it'd a vet min deal and Coffey isn't some amazing player he is a legit NBA player capable of playing solid rotation minutes. Seems like a good get for the Bucks.

Re: Remaining Two Roster Spots

John Wall retires. That's one option off the board. I think he could still play depending on what you were looking for. I wonder what he is doing next. Maybe the big 3?

Re: Remaining Two Roster Spots

What you are perceiving as "Love For Bones" is not quite accurate. It's more like a "We Know It's Gonna Be Bones, And I Can Live With That". He's not coming here to compete for a spot in the rotation, let alone the starting line up. That's why guys like Brogdon are not signing o...

Re: Remaining Two Roster Spots

Bones Hyland might be in the running for the NBA's worst player. I've watched him play for the Clippers and he looked like he didn't belong in the NBA. He kept turning the ball over, bricking the ball and got repeatedly lost on defense. Damn, TC. Cheerleader Joe, Bones and Empty spot, plus opting t...

Re: Remaining Two Roster Spots

John K in the athletic today said Bones is the favorite to get the last roster spot Itbseem D like the article kinda confirmed the idea that nobody better wants to sign here for the role they are likely to play which is a big reason why Bones may be the guy. I decided to look at some stats and see ...

Re: New Iowa Head Coach: Mahmoud Abdelfattah

Sure hope he produces a more competitive team than we've seen down there the last couple years! https://x.com/MikeAScotto/status/1955063791504199954 He has an interesting background that I won't go into here. He has coached in the G-League before, and most recently came from the NBL (Australia), so...

Re: Remaining Two Roster Spots

Why am I not surprised!? Speaking of fun undersized guards with a certain flash I was looking at various national teams that are playing this summer and saw Nadir Hifi is playing for France. I know several of us thought he showed somewhat well a year ago in summer league. To be honest he probably i...

Re: Remaining Two Roster Spots

Feels like Dillingham and Bones are a bit redundant. While Bones is obviously older and more experienced than Dillingham, he sort of is the same archetype of PG. Hopefully he finds a good landing spot somewhere. For what it's worth, WW and I both have a bunch of money on Bones signing with the Wolv...

Re: Johnny Juzang is a Timberwolf

Obviously there’s a pretty decent chance at a PG/combo guard spot being open in our rotation this season. I’m not sure why nobody else sees that. If Conley drops off a cliff, do you think we’re gonna leave him in the rotation as we’re trying to push for the playoffs. If Dilly shows that he’s still ...
