Re: Around the NBA:2025-6

Indiana took OKC to game 7 in the finals last year.

Now they've got the worst record in the league.

Obviously losing Haliburton and Turner hurts a lot, plus all the other injuries. It's a reminder of how quickly things can fall apart for a team. Or is this a one-year tank I'm not even noticing?

Re: Trade season

Not a bad idea, although I wouldn’t do it if I were Tim. Slo Mo has no value to the Jazz given where there at developmentally. That means his trade value will be set by the market - i.e., the extent to which other teams are interested in him. I just don’t see a lot of League-wide interest in Slo Mo...

Re: Fork in the Road - Wolves at Bull GDT

My gut tells me this pattern of "good games" and "bad games" will continue as long as our frontcourt is manned solely by Rudy, Julius and NAZ -- the paint protection just isn't consistent without Rudy. I get that those two should be able to figure this out, that they suffer from...

Nice to get a win out of an ugly game.

I was worried we were going to lose Jaden for weeks there when he slipped.

Speaking of which, am I crazy, or is there a condensation problem in Target Center? Our floors seem to be slippery more often than the road floors to me.

Re: Around the NBA:2025-6

Trading Luka was colossally dumb, no matter how Nico did it. You just don't trade a perennial MVP candidate who hasn't even hit his prime but has already carried your team to the Finals and built you a massive, rabid fanbase through his charisma and spectacular play. Luka clearly wanted to stay in D...

Re: Reverting to the Mean - Jazz at Wolves GDT

Yeah, more Clark should help. Naz definitely needs to improve too. If not, it might honestly be time to consider dialling down his minutes and getting Beringer or Rocco out there for a spell when Rudy is off the court. Bottom line is that we have GOT to start playing much better defense across the b...

Re: Jaden

Yeah, Jaden's offensive growth gives us more flexibility. We absolutely need to keep finding him in transition, and I hope we keep him involved in the half court offense as well. Both Ant and Julius have gotten better about making quicker decisions and getting their teammates (especially Jaden) invo...

Re: Wolves at Lakers GDT

Wow, some great basketball from both teams in that first half and we're still in October. We had guys make some tough shots and some nice hustle plays on offense, but there were times in that second quarter when it looked like we were just relying on somebody to improvise offensively. Felt like we s...

Re: Wolves at Lakers GDT

Wow, what an entertaining quarter! Fun watching great players do great things It sure is! I like our chances of coping with this pace more than the Lakers'. I think Luka's 3-point shooting will revert to his mean. Just finished the first quarter. The shooting in this game has been unreal. Luka and ...
