Re: Ben Simmons
I don't see anywhere in that blurb that says this has even been talked about. This is just another ridiculous fantasy by someone who has no sense of value for either player. Simmons is a negative, while KAT is still a large positive. This sort of move would require 5 or 6 upper firsts, not two from ...

Re: Doogie yapping away...
I think Bruce Brown over NAW signing and a move to trade for an actual potential successor at pg would be a huge mistake. 1) Brown thrived in Denver because his best ability on offense is to cut. Jokic and the rest of that roster fit him perfect. The Wolves are not that offensive team for him with ...

Re: Tim Connelly Interview
Q made reference to TC's interview. Shame on him for not posting the link!!! Obviously, there is nothing earth shattering. But it really gives me a good feeling that the organization is in great hands. It is well worth the listen. And I think it supports the "run it back" theme, sans Naz ...

Re: Naz Reid
I'm pleased to hear the organization values Naz Reid. I really believe we would regret letting him go for nothing. He can flat out score and should only improve going forward. The other thing which doesn't get discussed is his desire to win. I've heard no one takes losses harder than he does. We ne...

Re: Next Years Bigs
As I’ve said in one of these threads, I’m fine with trading either of the big fellas… I’m not convinced of the arguments that trading one over the other is clearly the better path. Both are generational talents with significant weaknesses to their games. Both have pluses and minuses financially. Bo...

Re: Running It Back
Here are some interesting dates that might tell us a bit more... 6/22 - The Draft. Who do the Wolves take in the 2nd round, and do we think he has a chance to make the active roster, which would be a cheap roster spot. If a KAT trade is coming, this would be the time... 6/28 - Prince's contract bec...

Re: Running It Back
I can't see anybody willing to take on Rudy's contract. That coupled with TC admitting his blunder makes a Gobert trade seem highly unlikely. I think KAT will be traded this summer and hopefully that means we can retain NAZ. Now, let's get a bidding war going for KAT and maximize the return. Cool -...

Re: Rudy trade ideas
I don’t have to speculate on the Wolves defense without Rudy. We have an entire prior NBA season without Rudy as evidence that this team would be fine defensively without him. We won 46 games without Rudy and had the 13th ranked defense. We climbed all the way up to 10 this season with Rudy, Ant an...

Re: West Conference playoff thread
Nuggets are really good Health makes all the difference in the world. They didn't have Murray for the playoffs in the last two years and they didn't have Porter last year either. Add those two to the game's best Center and you have a legit contender. Although I'm not just handing the title to them....

Re: Next Years Bigs
I'm torn on Naz. He definitely evolved into becoming instant offense off the bench and he fits the Ant/Jaden timeline. On the other hand, finding quality big men is easier than ever and we desperately need to upgrade our backup guards. And a number of these playoff teams don't even have more than o...
