Young up and comers
<t>As we look around the league, There are a lot of young players that are poised to take that next step this upcoming season.<br/> <br/> Personally, Im intrigued by the utah guys, namely hayward, favors and kanter. Im expecting a breakout season for all 3. Hayward is a guy i always like, I expect hi...

Re: TimberWolves Optimists
<r><QUOTE author="sjm34"><s>[quote="sjm34"]</s>Cool, I agree completely, and thought it was really funny when Flip addressed the issue and how that should be weighted with the talent a player has. Did he look at Kmart's track record?<br/> <br/> From what I can see, we basically lost AK for Brewer an...

Re: You know when things have gotten out of control when
<t>Good discussion on the pistons cam and monster..<br/> <br/> Personally, I am very intrigue by detroit right now. Smith, monroe and drummond is a domoninant defensive frontcourt and a dominant rebounding frontcourt. They will have spacing issues but smith and monroe are good passers for bigs and it...

Re: Bucks -- Larry Sanders
I will be tempted but i dont think the bucks will trade sanders now. He will be cheap next season and is becoming a legit dpoy candidate. He is a good young building bloc for the bucks and makes more sense for a rebuilding team like the bucks than pek would for them.

Re: 2013 Offseason Assessment of Flip
<t>Make no mistake about it. I dont think lakers will be good, i just dont think they will be bottom dwellers. Gasol is going to have a bounce back season. He will be playing for his last contract and he will be used as the main inside guy now with howard out of the way. Nash is still a starting cal...

Re: 2013 Offseason Assessment of Flip
<r><QUOTE author="longstrangetrip"><s>[quote="longstrangetrip"]</s>And as much as I would like to see the Lakers flop, any team that starts out with Bryant, Nash and Gasol is going to be just fine. Most knowledgeable basketball people see the end of the Dwightmare as a positive, and Kamen will actua...

Re: Jennings to detroit for knight
<t>Forgot about ersan. He is pretty good too. Also they added carlos delfino, another solid supporting piece as well as luke playing the backup role he is meant to play.<br/> <br/> If the bucks gets lucky in the lottery and draft parker or wiggins to play sf for them, with mayo and knight at the bac...

Jennings to detroit for knight
<t>I like the move for both sides.<br/> <br/> Detroit is looking like a playoff team right now. Jennings at 8m a year is good value and a good contract. He will have billups as a backup mentor as well, so thats good for him.<br/> <br/> Monroe, smith and drummond is a great frontcourt. All 3 can play ...
