Re: Rotation Players
<r><QUOTE author="lipoli390"><s>[quote="lipoli390"]</s>The depth helps insulate the team from the Impact of injuries. I also think the organization would like to contain the minutes of Ricky, Love, Martin and Pek to keep them fresh and reduce the risk of injury. It is widely accepted by experts that...

Re: Rotation Players
<t>kek, i dont think adelman would play a 12 man rotation. Adelman has always prefer a 9man rotation. 10man would be the max for him.<br/> <br/> We have good depth this year but a couple of players wont see the court a lot this season.<br/> <br/> Love, rubio, pek, martin, bud,jj and corey would have re...

Re: Rotation Players
<t>Love, rubio, pek and martin are going to get starter minutes.<br/> <br/> Bud will get 20+min and brewer gets 15-18mins. Dante will be love's backup and jj will play behind rubio and play some with rubio as well. I expect Turiaf to get some backup c minutes.<br/> <br/> DW and shved seems to be the ...

Re: Ronny Turiaf
<t>Not a bad signing guys. Turiaf is a good shot blocker and energy guy. Adelman wanted more vets, and he will be a vet that can take the rookie ding under his wing. Good 3rd string center. Johnson is more of a pf than a center. He just doesnt have the frame to play center full time. He will be fine...

Re: Henderson? Turiaf?
<t>Il be fine with turiaf as a 3rd center behind pek and dieng and as a vet on the team. He could be a good vet to take dieng under his wing as he is a good shot blocker and dieng is projected to be that.<br/> <br/> I view johnson more as a pf. He will be fine as the 3rd string pf behind love and da...

Re: Wolves involved in S&T scenarios with AK.
<t>I was thinking about a ak+shabazz+luke sign and trade for luol deng. Get ak to a contender, he will cost about half of what deng earns this season and deng gives us the starting caliber young vet 3 we need.<br/> <br/> Now that flip decided to sign brewer. i dont see an ak sign and trade happening...

Re: Fanning the embers of AK optimism
What I don't understand is why didn't we just offer ak that 5m/3yr deal instead of giving it to corey? I assume ak wanted more than 5 but he is worth about 6-7m and he would give us better trade value down the road than corey and his 5m/yr deal.

Re: Heard Brewer is a done deal
<t>Disappointed with signing brewer to a 5m/yr contract for 3 years. I dont beleive there are any team out there that is going to give brewer that much except us. 5m is too much for him and 3 years is too long. He is not the answer at the starting sf spot, and he cannot be counted on to be the wings...
