Losing Shermer is a major blow. I'd say he is worth 3 wins at least. No way can they replace him and not see a major drop off next year.

The next coordinator gets to come in with one of the best young running backs in the game, 2 great WR's and a decent o-line when healthy. The supporting cast was good enough to make Keenum look good. We're in prime position for a coordinator to be successful here.

I can't call this OLine decent yet. Below avg. Case actually had a very good year, but I give Shermer 50% credit. I'm not the only one, I heard that he was named the best Assistant coach of the year.

I still need to see a couple upgrades.

The o-line was one of the best units in the league before Easton and Elfein had injuries. Case was barely touched for a majority of the season. 6th overall in pass protection on football outsiders.

I think it was going to be tough to come down from last week's high....just difficult to escape death miraculously, then mentally be ready to go on the road and grind out a victory against a very good team. Sigh....

Yes homemade. My friend who is hosting (who is from my hometown area) his favorite hobby is making pies. He probably makes at least a pie a week. Well...time to eat away my sorrows with more pie.
