We're you one of the 30 guys still left when Colabello hit the liner right at AGon? Damn, a foot either way and we split the double header. Now I have to take shit all weekend from all my Dodger friends.

I'm the biggest Pelfrey supporter here, and I've given up on him. Something's wrong if he can't get his fastball over 89. I think they put him on the DL once they identify what's wrong with him, and move Sammy into the rotation. I suspect they have to DL Hicksy too with his concussion, so now there's room for Arcia and Willingham.

Tough week for the boys, but my optimism is high. Apparently Meyer's changeup has made him twice as effective...his last two starts have been lights out!

How'd I do on my Pelfrey/Deduno prediction? :thumb: Had to be a reason Pelf couldn't hit 90 yesterday, and had no movement. I'm looking forward to watching Sammy again...he was my favorite pitcher last year.

I'm buying the injury report. and actually wonder if it's more than a groin...guys don't lose that much on their fastball unless they're hurt. He's been wild in his previous starts this year, but yesterday was the first time all year I've seen hitters dig in on him. He had neither movement or velocity.

Pretty sure Oakland got on him even worse. Besides the point, though. He's sporting a WHIP of just about 2.00 and an ERA right under 8.00. It's more than a groin flairing up. It's a guy that isn't a good pitcher.

Maybe if we're lucky he can get his ERA to what it was last year... 5.19.

Yep as soon as he hit I yelled fuck cause I knew it was right at AGon but I was actually in centerfield when AGon hit his home run getting a mineapple pie at the state fair stand damn that was a bomb
