Fallen comrades

Post by longstrangetrip [enjin:6600564] »

How about a thread about former regular posters who no longer appear, and that we miss...including a guess as to why they are gone.

Camden: Still lurks frequently, but has not posted since the Wolves selected Kris Dunn with a couple of Cam's guys still available on the board

Markbu: Hasn't posted since 2014...perhaps bitter because the rest of the board wouldn't buy into his narrative (back in the Love days) that the real problem with the team was the starting five, not the reserves.

Alex: I miss his crabby (although often funny) comments a lot. Rumor is he got a job at the DMV and doesn't have time to post.

sjm: Hasn't posted since last July 4...possible tragic fireworks accident later that night?

We want them all back! Any other missing persons you guys can think of?

Well, I think Markkbu is gone for good given the length of time he's been away. I suspect the others and perhaps even some new joiners will be back in the fold once pre-season starts. There will be a lot to look forward to and discuss, that's for sure!

This was a good offseason to take a break from the board. Not all that much happened. I'm a bit jealous of the folks that did. lol

Is there a more appropriate place of employment for a crabby person?

Here in Nebraska I've always had good experiences at the DMV. I wouldn't say anyone is particularly happy that works there but they are not crabby, are efficient and get the job done which does not seem like the norm. I've never spent more than 20 minutes to get anything accomplished there (gone to 3 locations) even when the lines are really long which is pretty nice.

Speaking of DMV workers...has anyone here seen the movie Zootopia?

You should try visiting DMV in the Communist State of California! They shouldn't sentence non-violent offenders to prison, but rather years of handling others DMV needs, nobody would reoffend after that!!
