Regan Smith and Suni Lee bring home 3 medals each and are from Minnesota.

Regan hits close to home for me - grew up on the same block as her dad and uncles and my Mom is still friends with her paternal grandparents. Good for her!

That is awesome! I was excited when Grace McCallum got her Silver. She has been over to our house a few times and out on the boat. Great person! I still think about the what-if she didn't break her hand this winter.

Gable Steveson is a beast. I just spent a couple hours watching a lot of the USA matches. Thomas Gilman is a guy from the Omaha area that won Bronze. I'm faaaaar from an expert on wrestling but Steveson looks crazy quick for a guy that size. I'm looking forward to chatting with a friend of mine that had some family members that medaled in the Olympics and get his take.
