Dang! You aren't going to make me start a Something Special Train, are you?

Or maybe it could be the Anti-Pork Chop Block... (BTW, I like OpTIMist Prime!)

Save a little space for me on that train, boys. I'm not saying we're a contender yet, but I wouldn't at all be surprised by 18-20 more wins this year. And that to me qualifies as "something special".

Perhaps we could start the SST, but since you're not convinced, you can ride in the caboose, or the coal car, for now.

Interesting. CBS Sportsline is going through their divisional analyses. I don't regard them as any more knowledgeable than posters here, but they should be at least more impartial. They say Portland and the Wolves improved the most, with Denver and Utah losing ground. Their expected finish is Ok City, Wolves (at 50+ wins), Denver (45-50 wins), Portland in 4th and Utah trailing.

Probably the most positive spin I have seen yet on the Wolves. I don't know this writer Royce Young, but I hope that he is right. Second in this division and 50+ wins would be wonderful. You don't see teams improving by 20 wins very often, but I think this year's squad can do that.
