Looking at the Wolves remaining 19 games, I see 10 games the Wolves should win and 3 more they could realistically win. So I see the Wolves record over the next 19 games at somewhere between 10-9 and 13-6. At 10-9 they'll end up in 7th or 8th place. At 13-6, I think the Wolves will end up 6th.

My guy Isaiah Roby had a nice game to help down the Nuggets. :) It's exciting to be in the legit hunt for a 6th seed.

Some interesting thoughts looking at the scores so far tonight.

Knicks have now lost 6 in a row. And 1-9 in their last 10. They are 12 games under .500 and 4.5 games out of the last playoff spot. Will they look to shake things up this offseason if things continue to be disappointing after a nice season last year?

Meanwhile the Kings a team that's started the year with some nice talent and still has some nice players has just 3 more wins than OKC and 18 games under .500 and are 4 games out of that last playoff spot.

The East final 2 teams currently in the playoffs are a combined 5 games under .500. The final 2 teams in the west are a combined 15 games under .500. Sure one of them is the Lakers and if they can ever get healthy...but has anyone thought that maybe at this point the WC isn't actually the better conference anymore? If feels more even now than I can remember for quite a while.

Also Philly I guess has a new big 3. Harden Embiid and Maxey? Wowzers. That trio had what 78 points tonight? They all got to the FT line for a combined 31 trips to the line.

Monster, speaking of Sacramento...

Hard to find a coach more underrated than Rick Adelman.

The loss by the Sacramento Kings tonight extends an amazing streak:

Winning seasons in Sacramento with Rick Adelman as coach: 8 in 8 years

Winning seasons in Sacramento with anyone else as coach: 0 in 29 years

A couple things about Denver... Murray and Porter Jr. are expected back soon.

Will that upset the apple cart when they first return to the rotation... or will the team take off?

Even with the loss, Denver is 8 - 2 over the past 10 and 18 - 8 since early January. They've just been too good with a healthy Jokic to expect too much of a drop.

To along with this even with the wolves going 13-6 down the stretch the nuggets would need to go 10-9 the rest of the way for the Wolves to pass them and I don't think the nuggets do that with how bad their schedule is

Wow, that's downright Wolves-ian. Good to know we're not the only franchise with some crazy-ass stats that demonstrate our ineptitude.

And don't forget the Clippers who have won 4 straight. Pisses me off how these other teams can just keep finding ways to stay good despite crippling injury problems.

Well, at least the Lakers are sucking wind!

What's funny is that Michael Malone came close (11 - 13) in 2015... before getting fired. His TWO replacements went 18 - 40.

Even worse, that team started off 9 - 6 until D. Cousins was briefly injured. Apparently, the ownership didn't realize that MIGHT have had something to do with the team losing a few games.

The 2019 Kings went 39 - 43. Then, Vlade Divac fired Dave Joerger. The team has progressively gotten worse since...

[Note: Reminds me of when D. Casey was fired for a 20 - 20 record... only for Randy Wittman to go 12 - 30 the rest of the season... and 22 - 60 the next season. Then, the Wolves went with Kurt Rambis for his infamous 32 - 132 stint.]

While I was looking up salaries on the looming Dlo contract I noticed that Talen Horton Tucker is making 10 mil this season and 11 mil on a player option through 23-24. If you want any other proof that Klutch is ruining the league (also Ant's agency) look no further than this contract. Maybe Lebron will want to play 4 for us in his waning years?

Well, well, well. Good things do indeed come to those who wait. Here I am enjoying some late night hoops when I come across a new article from Adrian Wojnarowski. Any guesses as to what the story is? Don't worry, I'll let you know. The infamous, one and only, Sauce Castillo, Nik Stauskas himself has signed a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics after scoring 100 points in back-to-back games (57 and 43) in the G-League.

Today is a good day, folks. Today is a good day.
