This is NOT Tanguy Ngombo
There's just one problem with that scenario. Literally all our trade assets are now guards. Who's trading a star for 3-4 guards at once?
The bigger problem is that the star isn't available.
I do think they'll clear out the logjam to an extent but they are gonna play smaller. That's just a fact. It puts pressure on Vanderbilt but that's the kind of player they need to pan out. Maybe they go get a Mason Plumlee in free agency as another vet. Somebody from this team who is already here has to step up. That's this team's reality.

Oof.
Rosas's future depends on Edwards developing by year 2. If he's a flop, Adios Gersson!

Rosas did say a month back that need would not play a role. They would draft as they saw BPA. Not saying I agree.

It shouldn't be a shock that Rosas came to a conclusion that Edwards was the top prospect. Many scouts put him there. All the kids this year had warts, shitty year to have the #1 pick.

We also have to remember this is a guy that comes from the small ball mold so he's just never going to value big men the same as wings/guards. In his mind Edwards was probably the best prospect, but in reality where guys like AD and BAM just faced off in the finals, quality big men are still really important. I heard on the broadcast that the Warriors had Wiseman as their guy so tell me which organization likely has the better evaluators ranking these prospects? A team that won with small ball still valued the big more than both the guards.
