Jesus, golden state is moving up with Milwaukees 38 and drafting McCaw? This round is where great organizations make things work. I enjoy McCaw

Of course. The rich get richer. Grade A draft from the Warriors

Golden State bought a pick and took McCaw. Great move for the Warriors. This is what I hoped we'd do.

Start getting excited about Dunn LST. I think he is here to stay

I think you're right, although as I recall the Mayo/Love trade wasn't announced until after I went to bed.

I'm actually pretty excited about Dunn. I usually hate it when coaches and GMs say "we couldn't believe he was still there when our pick came up", but in this case I think Thibs/Leydon can say it and mean it. I didn't think he'd be there at 5 either.

That's my positive for me of Dunn as more than just a solid pick. He was really coveted by a few teams. I'm ready to roll with him. I'm still not excited about him but if he really is a defensive beast guard with a handle that can pass then I'll be plenty happy. Even if he is just more of an adequate shooter which I think I have always said he should get credit for especially behind the 3 point line in college.

Adding him next to Livingston gives them two long and lengthy athletic players on the bench.

Dunn is as big or bigger than McCollum, Knight, Gary Harris, Oladipo, and Reddick which is 3 of our division opponents starting 2's (teams we play the most during the year) and 2 others in the conference and I'm sure he could hang defensively with guys like Russell, McLemore (or their draft pick wing), and Buddy. That's more than half the conference. We won't be able to play him and Ricky every game, but they'll be able to play together a lot in the West.

Gotta believe if Thibs and Layden wanted to buy a pick $ wouldn't hold them back. These guys are too serious for that. There are still a number of guys so like maybe there will be a pick they will still pay for. I think there are some teams that do a bit of "we will do you a bit of a favor here" because of something else in the past or something or some connection between the 2 franchises.
