Just don't understand why the Bucks can't hang with the Suns. I mean I know Middleton and Holiday have sucked, but what's the deal? You get to the finals once in 47 years and this is the way you handle it? There is no guarantee, nor is it even likely Giannis can bring this team back to the finals again. I'm searching but can't find any answers to what is going on. The rest of the team needs to decide if they want this or not.

By the way, how much respect do you have for Giannis after watching these first two games? Just an unbelievable competitor. He deserves better than this.

Holiday has been God awful its such a killer for the bucks. Also huge advantage for the Suns that the bucks always have a guy who you can pick on, on D.

I can't believe I'm saying this but let Teague attack for a couple of possessions they need him to be aggressive instead of a spot up 3 pt shooter (seems that is what bud wants Teague to do but they should be aggressive with him in my opinion)

Will say though we'll see how the suns role guys play when they go to Milwaukee

I'm not writing off the Bucks yet even down 2-0. But the chasm between the performance of the two backcourts so far has been as wide as the Grand Canyon.

There is a fairly good consensus out there that the Bucks have the superior talent, but lack a coach that can get the most out of them. I agree with this sentiment. I even heard one pundit today say that regardless of the outcome of the finals, Bud will be gone after the postseason. I think that is a little extreme, but there has to be frustration in having the best player in the series and not being able to win one of the first two games.

Like most... I'm not much of a Budenholzer fan.

But I think people continue to sleep on the talent on Phoenix. Booker and Paul are probably the #2 and #3 best players in the series. Ayton is good. Crowder and Tucker are a wash... or even advantage Phoenix. Bridges is legitimately good, the defensive accolades will start as soon as next season. And even check out the benches. Teague vs. Payne is no contest, as crazy as that sounds. Cameron Johnson and Connaugton are comparable... but only one of them is getting 30+ minutes. We'll see if Milwaukee can figure out a way to get Portis on the floor more. And if he can help.

Now... if the Bucks deal for Bogdanovic had gone through... maybe even if DiVincenzo was around... then things would be different.

Cam Johnson would start for what like a third of the league? Giannis might be the best player in the series but to be honest Chris Paul is probably 1a. Booker is a legit star. Neither Middleton or Holiday are even though they are terrific 2 way players. Bridges has played like he is more than a role player. Booker started off slow game 2 but ended up shooting 12-25 and 7-12 from 3. Dude was just raining in shots in the 2nd half. The Suns are simply a good basketball team. Also Monte Williams seems to be basically doing all the right things.

To me, the only difference in the series is how the games have been officiated. The Bucks got away with more contact yesterday than they did in the two games in Phoenix. I'm not saying the officials have been bad in the series, just that the games have been called differently. It can make a huge difference in the outcome.

How about Giannis? He goes from we're not sure if he is going to play in the series to being absolutely dominant. My hopes for the series rest on his will to simply not let the Bucks lose. I'm so impressed with him right now.

What a game tonight. Almost wish I could have watched it impartially so I could enjoy it. That block by Giannis was iconic. I still can't believe he was able to do that. One interesting thing to me was the poor play by the point guards. Paul was bad by his standards, but Holiday was so bad I was begging for Jeff Teague. I wish the Bucks could play a complete game and have everybody going at the same time once. Maybe that will happen in Phoenix.

Looks like it's going to go 7 games. Most experts are sticking with the Suns for the series. Can the will of Giannis pull this off?

Holiday could do nothing on offense and still be much better than Teague because of his defense. Holiday did struggle putting the ball in the basket (it was disappointing) but he did make a lot of other plays too. He rebounded the ball got steals and strips, making some plays for others and he only had 1 TO. He outplayed Chris Paul IMO.
