Hayes of the Athletic said the price was pretty high.
Yay this would be a Killroff Thorpe Gordon type of trade to get him. Just don't see this happening. The only thing that might drive down the price is that he's only signed through 2019.

Let's hope Ryan Jeffers can stick at catcher. The twins need a catching prospect so bad in the minors right now. I found it interesting how high LaRanch was on the list. I wish Rooker would've made it to triple A last year but injuries cause that not to happen. I think there would've been outside shot of him making the team this upcoming year if he hadn't got banged up.

I actually played with Nick Anderson on the Tri City Sharks in 2012. Good guy hope the best for him in Miami hopefully he can get a shot there next year.

It was always a bit of a weird thing that Athens Twins didn't give him a shot. The numbers at AAA were very good. Maybe Jester has heard something. The guy they got back in the trade seems like a decent prospect and seems much less likely to be selected in the Rule 5 draft since he hasn't gone above AAA. It's not a bigtime deal but seems like a decent one (sort of a gamble) for a guy they were probably gonna lose anyway.

I don't know why the twins never called him up but I do know Nick struggle with Alcohol abused maybe it has something to do with that. Anyways I'm happy for him he has a lot more opportunity out in Florida now. I know how hard he had to work to get to that level because of his past mistakes and I wish nothing but the best for him.
