"Phoenix and Minnesota both stepped away, according to Turner Sports."

I'm curious as to Denver's source for Minnesota stepping away.

I also think Kenneth's game probably ages worse than almost any other playstyle I can think of

He's only going to be 28 this season. That's years away from worrying about his game aging. 16/13 per 36 and less than a 20% usage rate. That would be a great fit in our frontcourt and he makes less than Dieng. A high energy, low usage, highly efficient, big time rebounder. He checks off almost every box but 3pt shooting. He's also got 2 years left on his deal so he'd line up with Butler and maybe Teague as well. He's a super role player which is what this team needs. They have no backup C so they might be willing to take on Aldrich to save some money which would give us about 9-10 million still to sign a backup wing.

Yuck. He doesn't shoot 3s and he's an awful defender. Those are the two things we need most on this team right now.

Taj signing uses up existing cap space... to attract another significant FA (which they'll need to for shooting), Thibs have to renounce Bazz, move Aldritch (probably with 2018 1st). I understand that clears another $9 mil or so?
