He hasn't really shown anything. You don't want to pick his fourth year option at over $7M, and if you don't then you're better off investing the minutes in Payne who you control going forward. AB isn't the problem at this point, his #1 contract money is.

Can KG mentor an entire bench unit on how to play defense? Because I don't think we have a single guy coming off our bench that can stop anyone. This team is going to struggle big-time on the defensive end again.

A defensive PG wasn't going to all of a sudden make the second unit defensively respectable. Guys are going to have to step up on that end regardless.

Of course not. But every little bit helps. It would be nice if KG only had to mentor 4 out of the 5 instead of all 5!

I just feel like we have a lot of offensive potential already in the mix. We need some defensive bulldogs out there now.

I just wish the Wolves would stop giving you reasons to take shots at Zach. You never seem to miss an opening.

Oh, stop taking it so personally. If I had a nickel for every time you took a shot at Martin.....(which I'm OK with by the way - your prerogative!).

Besides, my issue is more with Flip and how he used Zach. I actually think Zach has some potential at SG. I'm not nearly as emotionally wed to him as you are, but I definitely want to play the long game with him and see how things turn out.

Q, a defensive pg like rozier/wright would've been great but a backup pg who can actually play at a slow pace, control the game, and get players in position to run sets vs Iso ball may be more important. Tyus can do that for us. We may lose on the offensive end, but if we have quality offensive possessions and go tit for tat on our second unit then I do believe we have a good chance to win many games. A rubio/martin/Wiggins/kg/towns 1st line can definitely put us/keep us ahead.

Fab Five. I'm sure plenty of Duke, UCLA and Carolina teams in the past. This year's Kentucky team I'm sure will have at least 3 make it. Finally, Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe for regency purposes.

Glad Looney was taken at 30, might have regretted trade up a little otherwise. Now very happy with trade.
