I struggle to get audio with that link, but Hardwood Hoops on YouTube shows the good and the bad of prospects. Hour long tapes, not just the 5 minute highlight reel.

Here is the link to the channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/HardwoodHoopsCentralsNBADraftGreenRoom

The last draft I remember where there was such a consensus Big Three was the year that Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley and OJ Mayo were anointed the Big Three. Beasley and Mayo were big time busts and guys picked 4 and 5 were much better, Westbrook and KLove. There was quality throughout the draft Gallinari, Brook Lopez, Ibaka, Deandre Jordan, Dragic, Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson, Hibbert (made allstar team). I think the Big Three in this draft will mirror the 2008 draft at the top. I think at least one and maybe two of the Big Three will bust and guys in the next tier will have a better chance of becoming impact players: Killian Hayes, Deni, Toppin, OKungwu.

Though Beasley and Mayo were very immensely talented, they both had questionable work ethics. I hope we stay away from anyone with those concerns if they are legitimate. Naturally, I'd like to drop down to the 3-6 range if we get some worthwhile compensation to do so.

While I am leery of Edwards for his work ethic rap, I have heard mixed things about Wiseman and Lamelo. Anyone have a strong opinion (good or bad) on the work ethics of either of these two?

Well, beyond basketball, Wiseman reportedly had a 4.0 GPA in high school, is fluent in mandarin (not an easy language to learn), has spoken of aspirations to run businesses after basketball and his desire to give back to the community. Touting all of that at 18 speaks volumes to me.

He was dogged by the NCAA. And I actually commend him for the decision he made of not returning.

If we keep#1 and take Wiseman, then i hope we try and package #17 and #33 for a solid vet. I don't know who Rosas could be targeting in this scenario but i don't like having 3 rookies potentially all getting minutes.

I'm listening to a HoopsHype podcast with Michael Scotty and Bryan Kalbrosky. Bryan anticipates the Wolves will draft Ball at #1 and thinks that would be the right move. But then Bryan went on to say that he doesn't think Ball will ever be an NBA all-star. What? If he's right about Ball (and I think he is), the Wolves would be insane to take him with the top pick in the draft. I just don't get some of these pundits.

Because most of them do not put any effort into anything that would matter in Minnesota. They do not care about our revelency. It is better for them if we continue to suck.

A great headline is Ball forcing his way out of Minnesota. Or Minnesota passing on people to pick Ball.

Yep they're all hoping we continue to fail and will push the Balls in our face this draft.

Really good read about Ben Simmons and what he can do in this league. https://www.canishoopus.com/2020/11/2/21501910/offseason-targets-part-iv-ben-simmons-nba

My favorite quote about this draft from main stream guys is from A video I watched on YouTube of Jay Bilas on the Jump. When talking about the fit of guys for the Wolves at #1 he said neither Edwards or Ball defend but Ball playing defense at this point is just a rumor. Lol Ouch
