Jennings signed 1.5 million deal to play in china. I would think he could he back in the NBA later in the season after the China season is over. Other NBA guys playing in China are Justin Hamilton and Terrance Jones.
I like your list. There are still plenty of interesting players available.
The Dunc'd on guys were guessing the other day that Memphis might be waiting to get the J Green situation to play out before figuring out how much to offer Tony Allen. Obviously it would be more than the vet min. We will see. It's August no and w less than 2 months till training camps so I would think we will see a few more guys signing deals in the next couple weeks.

I remember a couple years ago he was a guy that was supposed to be a late first rounder. I've been kinda intruiged with him for a while.

Trimble would have been a late first rounder or early second rounder if he had left Maryland after his freshman year despte being an unathletic 6-3 shooting guard. Why? Because he made 41% of his threes his freshman year. The problem is the same undersized unathletic guy only made 31% of his shots his next two years, and hence went undrafted. He played with the 76ers summer league team but wasn't impressive or signed. I think he will get a shot with our G-League team, but find himself playing in Europe very soon. Too bad...I liked him as a freshman.

I spent a bit of time reading up on Melo and watching some highlights. LST you mention his freshman year and his shooting. I'm not sure he was ever considered a SG although it sounds liek he played more off the ball last year than before. He was more of a scoring PG. After watching some highlights I can see why he isn't particularly highly regarded. Undersized unathletic may be a pretty good description. =) He isn't all that quick but he is pretty strong. like you said LST he was really shooting the 3 well his freshman year and then that dropped off. He did still chuck up that shot at a high rate which is somewhat encouraging. It not like he has a terrible looking shot or anything. He also got to the line at a good rate also. He is supposed to be good in the pick and roll. Like you said he may end up being just an affiliate player but they clearly see something worthwhile or they wouldn't have signed him to any type of deal. The fact that he played off the ball and it sounds like he actually may have excelled in catch and shoot situations may have been appealing. They could also offer him a 2-way deal if they have that available if he impresses enough to warrant that later. I've written too much about him already, but he is a guy I think could end up having a place in this league if he improves. his 41 minutes of play in Vegas he put up some pretty nice numbers. It looks like the Sixers may have been pretty stacked at that spot all summer.

Glen Taylor said the Wolves have made an offer to a free agent who can shoot. Glen's use of the phrase "who can shoot" pretty much excludes Tony Allen. So who is this mystery-player currently pondering a vet minimum offer from the Wolves?? Let the speculation begin!
My speculation? One of the following: Aaron Brooks, Deron Williams, Anthony Morrow, Luke Babbit or Mike Dunleavy Jr.

Listening to Wolfson's podcast was certainly interesting and you are right Lip brought plenty of mystery. Wolfson gives out reports on a lot of these guys (how reliable are they??? Well it's about all we have to go on) and he has said in the past if Morrow was offered a vet min deal he would be here. That makes sense to me he just doesn't seem like much more than a vet min guy by bye can shoot and that's about it. I guess he could be hoping to join a team like Houston or the Cavs if they make trades and open up spots.
My guess is Dunlevy as the guy they made an offer too.
What was also curious is the guys the Wolves according to wolfson haven't made an offer to or much contact with. Who are the guys they are basically holding out hope for? Deron williams? DunLevey? Tony Allen? I feel like there is one more name out there but I can't come up with it. It seems like they should have made Ian Clark an offer but the NO situation is a way better spot for him in regards to actually getting playing time. It was the same type of deal for Charles Cooke who signed a 2 way deal. Marcus Paige signed a 2-way deal with the Hornets which bring the total of 2 way deals up to 36.
It's interesting that Dante wants to come back. Getting him for the vet min would be pretty nice even if I am not sure how well he can guard SFs at this point but I doubt he would be any worse than some of the random wing guys you can sign that can basically only do one thing offensively. He would be a good player to throw on a big SF for a few minutes at least he wouldn't get bullied around.
Re: Final Wolves Free Agent Additions
Monster. I hope it's not Dunleavy. We don't need another geriatric on the team. And to say he's a one-way player is an overstatement. He can shoot threes. That's it. Morrow is a little more complete on the offensive end as he can handle the ball. But neither one fills our glaring need for a 2-way SF or bigger SG off the bench.
This team has to have a 2-way player who can step in for Wiggins or Butler as a wing starter if one of those guys goes down for a stretch -- preferably someone with a decent 3-point shot. Crawford can't and neither can Dunleavy or Morrow since all are one-way offensive players whose calling card is shooting. Nor can Tony Allen whose calling card is defense. Allen and Dunleavy are way up there in years with Crawford. Unfortunately, I don't see anyone among current unrestricted FAs who can fit the bill.
I'd target Babbit as a younger and slightly more versatile version of Dunleavy or Morrow as my go-to 3-point shooter. Then I'd target Deron Williams and Gerald Green to fill the other two roster spots. They're the closest thing to a two-way players on the market right now.

Re: Final Wolves Free Agent Additions
I agree that we need a reliable wing (other than Crawford) to start when either of our starters are out, but I wouldn't have a problem if it turned out to be Allen. Yes, he is aging and has never been a long-distance shooter, but I would argue we don't need offense with KAT, Teague and either Butler or Wig in the starting lineup. Allen's defense hasn't dropped much if at all, and can still be counted on to bother the s*#& out of his man. And 9.1 PPG and 5.5 RPG last year in only 27 MPG would be a decent supplement to our scoring and rebounding. He was good enough to start 66 games last year for a good team...I trust him to start on the Wolves if needed.

Lip I still think Dunlevey can play. I wasn't aware that Morrow could handle the ball. I guess there is hope for Wiggins!!! Lol
The reality is we are going to end up with guys that likely can help but will be flawed. For example Babbit is a guy that has played a lot of PF the last couple years including most of his minutes last year with the Heat. This is why being able to find and develop guys in various ways matters espcially when it comes to wings. There are some NBA fans out there that claim Anthony Brown can actually defend. Some Lakers fans said he was one of the few guys that wasn't worthless as a defender during the lost season of Kobe's farewell tour. We will see. One advantage about these vet min and below guys is that you can dump them and sign another guy if something better becomes available or the player you signed isn't good or gets injured.
