Because ultimately it comes down to wins, not efficiency rankings, and the Wolves again aren't winning enough to make the playoffs. I don't think efficiency rankings are going to be the decisive factor when Kevin Love makes his decision next year.

I agree that we need to improve the bench. But without available cap space, Flip will have to give something valuable up in order to bring improving pieces in. And many of us are suggesting that Pek may be the most expendable of the few valuable assets we have, because of his injury record and the potential of players backing him up. If a deal involving Pek doesn't make us better, then I'm not on board. But I'm not so tied to the Big Fella that I wouldn't support Flip looking at all possible options to improve this club.

They aren't getting defensive stops and aren't scoring in clutch situations. That's why they are a .500 team. We are pretty good at beating up on lesser teams, but unlike the Pho, and dallas teams, we don't beat better teams. When Pek starts scoring the ball to finish a close game out, then we can consider him worth the 12 mil.

People want to point to Pek's 18ppg, but the truth is that most of them are spoon fed to him. Gorgi was in double figures last night, and he has no offensive game at all. Rubio's passing and Love opening up the middle are what create most of the offensive opportunities.

There is no doubt that our bench is a big part of the problem, but we don't have any assets to use to fix that area.

well theres

Nene
Kris Humphries
Al Hoford
Bargnani
Noah
Mcgee
Splitter

Only Noah would be the person I'd take over Pek

Yeah me too. I had to check on Mr. Kardashian at 12 million per. Vomit. I hope that's an expiring deal. Outside of Noah, I would argue nobody on that list (maybe Nene this year) is worth over 8 million.

Can somebody help me with this one? Blount hasn't played since 2009 and has 1 more year left on his deal at just under 8 million per year? That can't be right, is it?

I don't think the Celtics are ready for Pek. I think the Thunder would be willing to shake things up if they don't win it this year. And who wouldn't want to see Adam's playing for the Wolves. I think he and Love would get along just fine.

Steven "Kiwi Dwight" Adams is a beast and has a motor second to none. Once the officials stop calling 'rookie' fouls on him he will be a force to be reckoned with. Remember you read it here first.

they wouldn't need defensive stops or score in clutch situations if they had a bench that can hold a double digit lead once in a while!

well since you don't like guys who get 18-8 and are injured a lot. Horford fits that bill
