I'm going to have to say that the Kings flat out won that game versus the Wolves losing it. They played aggressively and with confidence from the opening tip and then Monk absolutely torched us in the second half.

The Wolves turned it over 12 times, which isn't much when you include the OT, and despite the poor shooting from KAT, we still hit 39% of our 3s with Jaden having a great night offensively. It's hard to point to some egregious issue on the Wolves' part.

The Kings were quicker to the ball, played an aggressive high wall defense, and only turned it over 7 times and that's without their starting PG. Kudos to them.

You just can't fix stupid when it comes to KAT. I'm ready to move on from him at the end of the year.

That has to be the worst performance I have ever seen from KAT. Just awful from start to finish.

The box score has us with only 12 turnovers. Seems like we had twice that.

It was unfortunate that Ant had to leave halfway through the game because his Baby Mama was delivering. Complicating matters was that he first had to determine which Baby Mama it was.

All seriousness aside, this was a very entertaining game. My favorite loss of the year last year was the OT loss to the Kings. I was lucky to be at the game, and I thought we were going to lose the entire night. But somehow we got to OT, and I was certain we were going to win when Sabonis fouled out. But them Lyle happened. Last night was a carbon copy...I felt uncomfortable all night, but then confident when Sabonis fouled out. I guess I'll never learn.

Sac/Minny is a possible playoff series, and wouldn't that be fun?

Somebody said the Kings just seemed to be quicker to the ball tonight...yep. And allowing 14 offensive rebounds was shameful.

How does Jaden get a -8 on the best offensive night of his career? Easy...because he had no answer for Monk. I thought this was one of the worst on-ball defensive nights I've ever seen from Jaden. And Finchie is not without blame here. He needed to react once he saw the Jaden/Monk matchup wasn't working. NAW was the right call here.

With Kyle out, did Finchie really put Rudy in the middle against the Sac zone. Really? That's our best option?

Like some others here, I think this loss came with a silver lining. If the Wolves can find a way to incorporate Jaden into the offense on a consistent basis, we are going to be tough to beat...at least on nights where Ant doesn't become a dad.

If we can get that Jaden McDaniels for the playoffs - I like our chances. Of course the other guys have to still do what they do. But last night was the McDaniels we signed to the big extension.
