Yesterday here I mentioned LeBron probably not being interested in MN because we would ask him to be the PF we are currently missing to match up with the physical offensive minded bigs in the west. I mentioned that at his age he probably is not interested in going somewhere to bang around the paint all year.
But from MN perspective let’s say he actually wanted to do that…At what level are we to expect his ability for physicality on defense to hold up? It seems like a gamble even with his attention to health and his body that a 40 year old guy can do it. There’s a reason he was rumored to be demanding whatever team he does choose to acquire Anthony Davis. Bron shouldn’t be asked to be a plus defender in the paint at his age and we shouldn’t expect him to.
Our offense is already odds on favorite to be top 3 in the league. So if we aren’t getting LeBron because we need to raise iur offensive ceiling and he shouldn’t be saddled with raising a teams defensive ceiling the really what is the point?
He Absolutly makes us better offensively but we do not need that. He doesn’t fit here.
If he doesn't want to play the 4 and wants a high usage, Miami is the answer. If Rich Paul thinks he can ultimately get AD to Golden State, I think the Warriors move to the top.
LeBron raises a team’s level of play on both ends no matter what position he plays. The Wolves have apparently been looking for floor spacers at the PF position and none of the candidates are good defenders. So bottom line is that the Wolves would not expect LeBron to focus on defense or bang a lot in the paint.
It screams "this is all about the documentary"! What a great end to the "recruitment act": ANT shows up at Fanatics Fest and LeBron makes his choice: Timberwolves.

That’s my point. Signing him still leaves a huge need of someone to bang a lot in the paint besides Rudy. So what’s the point.
Has anyone created an AI pic of LeBron in a Wolves uniform yet? What number does he want?
Do the Wolves have room to drag Bronny along?
In all seriousness, the Wolves might be the best landing spot. LeBron can play as little as he wants during the season. I am thinking 22 to 24 minutes a game. He can take an in-season vacation if he needs to. But I think he is going to have a blast playing with the kids that are on the roster. Might be a fountain of youth for him. He can coast until the playoffs and then look for that final title for his resume.
