Possibly Bill might retire, IDK, he could go another 5 years too.

I heard the Saints were high on Trask and that scares me. I need them to lose.

As much as I like the Vikes winning I need the teams I hate to lose. GB, Pats and Saints. :D

Daniel Jeremiah's last Mock draft had Mac Jones Going to the 49ers. There will be teams that take QBs that look dumb X amount of years from now. Meanwhile as I was looking back at QB drafts and saw a NFL.com 2017 Lance Zierlein draft guru article from that time that said Trubisky was the leader of a QB draft class lacking elite talent. Lol I believe both draft classes before that had guys go 1 and 2 and 2015 guys are fringe starters and the other 2 guys got traded this offseason.

Yeah it's a bit of a crapshoot. It's hard to evaluate players when they are going against inferior competition mostly. Like Mac Jones. The dude played very well, but he had two WR's being drafted in the top 10 maybe. Then a stud Oline and RB. I mean, great you did well in that situation, but how does that transfer to Pro play when you are likely to not have all day to throw with wide open WR's?

Can you avoid the rush, make tight throws to covered WR's?

Cousins for as much crap as he gets from this board at times, even more so in the National media, has been pretty dang good. Also consider the OLine rankings, which were very poor. If we had a good Oline? Imagine the attack we could have!

The little I have seen of Mac Jones he doesn't have any physical trait that looks like a positive. He looks kinda awkward moving around and his arm looks ok I guess. There aren't a lot of guys that are above average starters like that.

That's my feeling too and he might go number 3 overall. He doesn't look fluid or quick. Lot's of people thought the Freshman QB was going to win the job in camp even, he was the #1 QB coming out of HS but Mac Jones and his experience won out.

If you compare Mac Jones to Tua, Tua had excellent quick footwork and ability to make plays after they break down. Tua to me is a far superior QB.

My eye test says Trask looks like a better QB prospect then Jones. Trask seemed to be strong in the pocket, nice quick Peyton Manning type footwork, and really accurate under pressure. Similar to a Big Ben but with better pocket presence or footwork. Maybe not as quick of a release or strength in the arm but good enough.

True. Retiring at 70 though seems about right.

I looked up how old he was because I simply didn't remember. He turns 69 this month.

I knew he was on the doorstep of 70, but didn't know he was that close.

As far as QB's. Not a fan of Mac Jones or Fields. I hope both are picked before #14. I would be fine with a run on WR's too.

Exactly - Exhibit A - Mark Rypien 1991 (that team was crazy good)

You can win a SB with Cousins. But we also need a top defense and better Oline. We got WR's and a RB, we are lacking seriously in the other areas where not so great QB's have succeeded. Dilfer, Johnson, Rypien, Hostetler, Eli Manning twice. Nick Foles. I'm missing a bunch others.

Which reminds me I saw Gladney was arrested a couple days ago.

What about Doug Williams the first former TB QB to go on and win a Superbowl for another team? I just read part of his Wikipedia page. There was some stuff about his pro playing career I had not known before.
