I saw this coming, but it is hard to argue with how he got teams to perform down the stretch the last to years. I think some player development concerns for guys like Buxton, Sano, and Kepler could maybe be pinned slightly on him, but he seemed to be able to take a few scrapers and make them productive MLers.

You guys talk about thibs not being a fit here. I think Molitor can be a good coach on a veteran team, but he's not the guy for this job with a bunch of Young guys.

Is it sad I want Ozzie Guillen to be the manager just for his post games lol

Honestly think it's Sandy Alomar Jr job to Lose. Puerta Rican manager that connect with our foreign players. Also has the connection with management through the Indians. Remember he was going to get the Indians job tell Francona decided he wanted to manage again.

I'll say this about Falvey and Lavine their other hires for pitching and hitting coach suggest they are going to look outside the organization and guys they are familiar with in the organizations they worked with.

You couldn't even make up the latest chapter in the continuing disastrous Sano saga. So, he's out with his wife in the DR at 3am (I'm certain returning from a robust late-night workout in the gym in a quest to get his weight under 300), and he ignores a traffic checkpoint and runs over a cop with his truck...breaking the guy's leg in the process.

Even worse, apparently he swung and missed 2 times before finally making contact with the cop...

The last report I saw this was deemed as an accident which...is either money talking or it was actually an accident which is the only way I could think of when the news first broke (no pun intended) of this incident where the outcome wasn't a complete disaster. If he was out with his wife I'm more wiling to buy this was an accident. Obviously its not a good look either way.

oh, that's precious right there LST.

What a shame....this guy could have been really good, but it seems like he's just a sloppy, undisciplined oaf.
