I guess I'll post this here. Twins traded minor league pitcher Luis Gil for OF Jake Cave and DFA'd Kennys Vargas. Cave has a few years of minor league options and kinda broke out with some power later year and turned 25 in December.

Well...that Aybar signing looks more worthwhile. Sigh...

Astute reader points out to me: Just like Ervin Santana a few years ago, Jorge Polanco's PED suspension comes with the penalty of missing the postseason this year--if the Twins qualify.

Maybe it seems like he has been around a while but Nick Gordon turned 22 in October and played a full season of AA last year (first time above A ball) as a 21 year old last year.

Will be fine at SS I actually think escolobar is the better player and they signed aybar for a sano suspension well it turned into a polanco one.
Btw I heard this on PTI today Ohtani the Japan pitcher us guys kind of wanted 20.83 era in spring training and .083 batting average. We might've avoided Dice K 2.0

He's baaackk!!!
Twins reclaimed Kenny's Vargas. Apparently both the Twins and the Red were/are hoping to get him through waivers and to AAA for depth. The Twins have a 40 man roster spot now so we will see how this plays out.
