Lakers start 0-2 which is always good to see. Westbrook 0-11 from the field last night, oof!
But before we get too giddy about their start, they were playing two legit contenders in Golden State and the Clippers. There really isn't too much cause for alarm when you start 0-2 against those two opponents.
BTW....the Clippers are deep to an almost insane level. I know we like to think the Wolves are deep, but the Clips are next-level deep.

Donovan Mitchell had 32 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists tonight to lead the Cavs to a win over the Bulls. The Jazz had a couple of pretty good players in Rudy and Donovan. If Edwards can be as good as Donovan Mitchell, that bodes well for the Wolves if the coaching staff and players can adjust to a different style of play with Rudy in the fold.

They are a solid team. They play nobody that sucks and that is worth something. I mean Vando hit 2 3s tonight.
Outside of the wolves they are the team I'm rooting for the most

There's always a team or two that come out the gate hot that eventually crashes back to earth. Utah will be that . They won't win 30 games.

And I believe their goal is NOT to win more than 30 games, so I kind of agree that eventually they will trade away their vets or we'll start seeing "injuries". They actually have some pretty valuable vet pieces for playoff teams that need help as the trade deadline approaches.

It does make me feel a bit better....I mean, the Pelicans win handily at Brooklyn and at Charlotte, then Utah comes to town to ruin their home opener. Impressive stuff.
