I've enjoyed Ant and McDaniels development all year so even if they didn't win in play in I would be fine. The west is crap shoot anybody could win it that's why I don't get angry at these bad losses. The Portland loss was bad but they're such a thin line in talent gap between the best and worst teams anybody can win any given night.

To be fair... that same Portland "team" included random 10-day guys with no NBA future, had lost several straight games by 24+ points and had lost 11 of 12.

They're not a serious NBA team... nor even pretended to be.

I was saying this more about the losses to rockets and pistons. Yes I agree the Portland loss is real bad and a major outlier.

If we actually win a series I will buy my first ever bottle of champagne, they will have taken one of the most frustrating routes to get there but it would still be cause for celebration!
