I vote for all time worst poster Jester1534. He has up and down record of posting. Often he makes good points and can go on good string of posts Bazinga! Yet he does drink a lot and post nonsensical stuff. For every good post there's one where hes fingerpointing at the posters around him. Just like Dlo hes overpaid and underpaid at the same time. Like Dlo you have to take the good with the bad and hope he gets on fire.

We've always had a whipping boy here, so it's a good question Sab asks. After all, you need someone to blame when a franchise has had the futility it has had. I suspect Rudy has a chance to be the #1 whipping boy, but not if Conley revives him. Conley could be the new whipping boy if he doesn't perform well. And I think KAT will be mercilessly ripped if he comes back and is still a 30% 3-point shooter...or if he doesn't come back at all.
And there's always Nowell, who I would argue has probably been the #1 whipping boy this season. But if he plays like he has the past week, he had a good chance to be our most improved player the second half.
Time will tell, I guess...

Yeah, he's getting closer. One of my concerns with trading DLO is that we have really benefitted from his offensive pop over the past couple of months. While Conley gives us a sure-handed professional PG, he's probably not going to shoot us back into a game like DLO was doing. But if the front office knew KAT was trending in the right direction, then they knew help was on the way in the shooting/scoring department from another source.
Man, could be quite a ride here the rest of the way!
On the Locked on Wolves podcast they talked about how much better Conley is as a spot up 3 point shooter, and say that is a better fit with ANT becoming more of a primary ball handler. I have no clue if they're correct, but it sounded good! LOL

I agree, I haven't missed his constant complaining. It could easily become one of the more annoying things about the team again.

If I point out that in this context it's "who's," not "whose," do I risk becoming the new whipping boy?

Love was blamed for A LOT of the Wolves struggles when he was here, even though he was the only good player (and that's coming from a Rubio fan!).
I think Abe would be the best to break this down. Hes done so in the past quite well
[Note: Abe has to read this to respond]

Yeah, Conley historically has been a very solid catch and shoot 3-point shooter. But this year, especially of late, DLO has been better. I mean he has literally shot us back into games a couple of times and he and Ant were developing a chemistry. That's just the facts. All the other baggage about DLO may be true as well, but the dude has been on fire for a couple months now.

You just gotta say it with a southern accent and it works
