Ha, I actually have more of a problem with the constant criticism of the new Wolves whipping boy...Jaylen Nowell. I don't participate in the GDTs because I usually watch the TV replay if I'm not at the game, but I swear that sometimes it seems like over half of the posts are about Jaylen...our backup SG! The Wolves are winning and, despite his inconsistent shooting and defense, I have to admit I never question his effort. And we probably don't win Saturday night without his good game. Let's enjoy the wins and give Jalen a break for one GDT!

That's Kekgeek, but he's not wrong. Nowell has truly been terrible this year. And he's not "just" the backup SG, but was supposed to be our sparkplug scorer and secondary play maker off the bench, i.e. our 6th man. Hopefully we see more of what we saw the other night from him.

Honestly, I still blame Glen

But isn't the separation really the Top 2 in the West and the Bottom 2? It seems like everything else in between is pretty wide open! Granted, the Lakers probably don't have a realistic shot at the 3 seed. But they are only 3 games behind the current 6-seed!

Well, right now, yeah. But there seem to be a couple blobs forming in-between. As the blobs firm up, the Wolves want to be in the upper blob.

I agree, Q, Kek is usually right in his opinions, and Jaylen can often be frustrating. It just seems we pile on poor Jaylen a little too much in the GDTs (and it's a group effort, far from just kekgeek). I usually save my venomous comments for players whom I see taking plays off...especially on defense. Jaylen has been maddeningly ineffective this season, but I like that he at least doesn't take plays off and always seems to give his all when he's on the court. But yeah, let's see if he can duplicate his Cavs performance this afternoon against the Jazz.

Overconfidence can be a problem... (see Detroit!)

The Minnesota Timberwolves are facing... the Utah Jazzerwolves this afternoon.

Malik Beasley, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Walker Kessler are all in the starting lineup for this one.
