Naz trade value must be at an all time high.

Him making shots is so big for us, as the defense has been solid all year. He just couldn't do anything on offense.

Ant has a killer instinct. That's what that last shot tells us.

What a quarter. 36-14 Wolves. The high wall defense worked to perfection as it mostly got the ball out of Luka's hands and our recovery and rotations were really good.

I haven't said we don't need Gobert. But I prefer the way this team plays without him. And I think the way they play without him is a better foundation for long-term success. I've mentioned that our defensive ranking as a team is no better this season with Gobert than it was last season without him His presence on the court helps, but also hurts in some ways.

Layup line or no layup line, the Wolves held the Mavs to 45 points in the first half. That's very good defense. Would I prefer to have Gobert playing tonight? Actually I would, especially given Knight's foul trouble. But boy I like the way Naz plays. He handles the ball like a SF.

I think we can play high wall with Gobert. Anything that keeps our perimeter more engaged is a good thing.

Massive props on how they settled and played fantastic 2nd Q defense.
