This is exactly what the percentages would say right now, and what I believe also...and I have to admit to some excitement about Russell. While he doesn't possess the athleticism this team is beginning to feature, he does have what we need more...basketball sense and ball handling near-wizardry, combined with a pretty decent shooting touch. He can comfortably back up Martin and/or Rubio for another season, depending on where Flip sees his future, and hopefully be our SG of the future. I'm looking far too ahead here, but a Russell pick would seem to push Wiggins into a SF role, but I have no issues with that as he develops physically. I'm all in on Russell if the Wolves get the 4th pick.

I think it's safe to say the Knicks and Lakers finish as the 2 worst. I had been really hoping the Sixers would keep winning, but the MCW trade hurts those chances quite a bit. I'm guessing 4th unless we're super lucky. I'm definitely not worried about the Kings, Jazz or Magic. Young talented teams that are far enough ahead I think. The Nuggets & Celtics are the only teams I think we could realistically pass, but I'm not betting on it.

Most important draft in our franchise's history. We have to hit.

If we hit and stay healthy we will be a championship contender. Wiggins and new guy will form a great duo. Rubio is a great playmaking PG, but he needs guys who can finish and hit open shots. Flip has to nail this pick.

Get Towns and we're in great shape.
And if by some chance LaVine reaches his ceiling... Look out.

Just to play devil's advocate, let's say we slip to 7. Oubre or Porzingus?
