Wrongs:

1) I was wrong when I said Cleveland wouldn't be stupid enough to trade Wiggins for Love.

2) I was wrong in saying AB would beat out Thad at PF before the end of the year

3) I was way off on the Wolves' win total

Rights:

1) I was right in saying Cleveland's win total wouldn't be over 55

2) I said the Wolves were a .500 team with a healthy Rubio...so far it looks like I am right

3) I was right in saying Shabazz Muhammad would be a prolific scorer given a chance.

Rights:

I will lay claim to this. I was the first one to said it here when we got wiggins. I proclaim that he is going to win the rookie of the year award THE MOMENT we got him. Even before we got him, I keep saying that wiggins is the ONLY trade i want to see us trade love for. Not the bulls, warriors or any other team, its wiggins or nothing for me. He is proving me right.

Derrick Williams. By his 2nd season with us, I thought it was justified that he starts getting some dnpcd. He just isnt going to pan out here and highly doubt if he ever will on any other team.

Andre Drummond. I thought he was pick too low at 9. I had him behind Davis. Wanted us to trade Derrick williams to the kings for their pick(#5 -robinson) or to the warriors for their pick (#7-Barnes) and pick him. Thought it makes sense considering who the two teams picked and DW has good value back then.

Wrongs:

Beasley. I was one of his few supporters here. Really liked him his first season. He is out of the league right now.

Bud. I saw him as a key contributor. Too bad injuries did him in and he is a bad contract right now at 5m a yr.

Shabazz. He has been outstanding in his role on the team as a instant offense guy. He made me look silly and Il own up to it.

Keep shooting, Corey...give us a chance!

Edit: My aim on hitting the wrong thread is about as accurate as Corey's on that last 3

Right About:

1 - I said before the season started that we would likely be hit by injuries to key vets and that it would lead to rookies/2nd year guys having to take too much on. That largely informed my 25-win prediction, which at the time was one of the most pessimistic estimates on the board.....although I never thought the injuries would be THIS bad!

2 - I was a big advocate of starting Gorgui Dieng alongside Pekovic and then bringing Thad off the bench as a super-sub. Instead, Flip persisted to stay small at PF with Young and Bennett (and some Hummel) while playing Dieng, Pek and then Adrien exclusively at Center. The result is we got pounded inside on most nights. Flip eventually traded Young and is going decidedly bigger lately. While I don't think Dieng is by any means the ideal PF, his stints playing next to Pek have been encouraging and generally on the + side.

3 - Flip's inside-the-arc offense is out of step with the modern NBA. We see it night in and night out where we're getting gunned down by a bunch of 3-balls as we labor to create contested post ups and 2-point jumpers. This was a concern of mine from the get-go.

Wrong About:

1 - I thought Wiggins would struggle more offensively than he has, especially after an inauspicious opening 20 games. And while he's still got a lot of work to do, he's been very impressive for such a young rookie.

2 - I had really high hopes at the end of last season and heading into this season that Gorgui would be a defensive difference maker. Instead he's been the opposite. He's been brutally exposed by most team's opposing Centers/front lines.

3 - Shabazz most definitely exceeded my expectations and became a very productive scorer off the bench. He still has a lot of work to do to round out his game, especially on defense and outside shooting. But he plays with a motor and work ethic that suggests further improvement is in the offing.
