True. But his handles suck so bad I'm surprised he can tie his shoes. And Zach? What a bust. And I realize he had the highest + / - on the Team USA, but it was only +6. He's a D leaguer no doubt. Maybe we can exchange him for Heslip.

I could be wrong here but I don't think anyone on this board says lavine can't be good. But just for this year he has been a negative for the most part when he is on the court. I am not saying he won't turn out being a very good NBA player because I think he will because of the flashes he had shown. I believe he will put it together but he had not been good this year.

Kek, who says he's been a negative for the most part while on the court? And don't answer by referring to some stupid metric. Tell me anybody that knows anything about NBA basketball that has said he is a negative for the most part. I'm not talking about the stat geeks on this board who believe it, I'm talking about an NBA player, coach, analyst, executive that has said Zach has been a negative for the most part.

Anyone that talks about him always speaks about his potential, not his current production. There's a reason for that. Actually, there's two reasons for that. The first, LaVine has great talent if he can put it all together. Secondly, he hasn't been productive this year with his minutes sans two or three games. That's not entirely his fault, but it is what it is.

Britt Robson has been very down on Zach's performance this year.

Ahaha the Stauskas comments. He at least still has another year to make the game. Hopefully he gets traded.

Stauskas for Thad ??? The ultimate conundrum for Cam.

I don't know how to answer that, because it's not like the big time analysts are covering the wolves and players/coaches don't say negative things publicly about players. I know Jim P is very critical of his play. Same with barrerio (shitty example). Just going by my eye test. Ball movement is worse when he is on the floor. He takes to many contested long 2s. His defensive rotations are spotty at times. He is getting better at this but especially at the beginning of the year he struggled getting over screens. I believe that he is a good 1 on 1 defender. I love when he is in attack mode, and we see flashes of good things like the drive and dump to pek last game. Once again I like lavine, I think he has improved this season. I would not trade him, and I see all star potential. Just this year I think he has been a for the most part a net negative. That is not trying to knock him at all. I am happy he is getting solid minutes.

Most NBA teenagers have net growing pains. But I understand what you are saying. I'm more making fun of the D league comments and impatience a lot of people have with him. We already went through this with Wiggins this year. Now I'm not saying he's going to be Andrew Wiggins, he's not. But I am tired of people pushing the panic button with Zach. It's just not necessary.
