I just watched this. Man the guy doesn't miss.
I know right! Just get him the ball every time.

I like the signing. My only complaint is it's about 3 months too late. Turiaf was hurt to start the year and Pek went down in the 1st week. I thought they could have brought in someone sooner. I like Adrien. But he's not tall enough to be a center IMO. Glad they are finally trying to help this defense.

When I said he was like Pek I also meant on defense. The guy is not much of a rim protector, just a big body that is hard to move. So he'll have about the same effect as Pek on defense where he won't let his man get posistion but faster players will get by him with ease.
He should help with rebounding however as he won't be trying to contest every shot like Dieng and Adrien where they leave their feet to attempt the block. Miroslav will wall up and turn to box out which should lead to more rebounds.
I like Robbie Hummel, I think he is a solid end of the bench guy who can play with solid fundamentals but our injuries have crippled us to a point where I think he should be cut to retain Adrien. Have Adrien and Miroslav be our backups at PF and C until Bennett finally finds some passion and until we get healthy. With Adrien we can have a decent rim-protector and then have Miroslav clean up the boards.
Why did I just spend the last 5 minutes writing this when we are currently on pace for 14 wins, I DON'T KNOW!

Ah. To be honest - I know nothing about the guy. I've been watching the Vikings game and just popped on to we signed a 7 footer. I assumed he was signed to help a huge need (size).

I like the signing, but if we drop Adrien as a result, it almost defeats the purpose. We will still be too small and weak at PF, since Young, Hummel, and Bennett (who is currently in Flip's doghouse) will continue to offer minimal resistance in the paint.
What this team could use is a legit backup C AND some size and strength at PF. At least then we have a prayer at banging bodies and getting a larger share of the available rebounds.
The hard part if figuring out who else to part with if not Adrien.

And I suppose it will take him two or three weeks to learn the 5% of Flip's playbook he has put in place...SMH.

He could always do what Bazz did.
Say "screw the playbook" and do what you do best

Flip said this was a false alarm. I wonder if someone's agent got ahead of themselves.
