Like I said, it was hard coming up with negatives. I guess I just enjoy watching Andrew with the ball so much that I see Kevin as an impediment to that. Selfish on my part.

I think it is a long shot, but if he opts out he might be able to get a few mil on the open market (I mean Ben Gordon did) and then play for his next contract where if he plays good could get one more longer contract around the 5 mil range.

If he opts in he will not play (assuming not every wing gets hurt again), and his next contract will probably be under a mil or possibly out of the league. Just a thought but who knows, once again I think it is a long shot

Good write up cool. Cant add anything else. We are going to be good next season and we have the young talents that will be coveted and envied around the league in a few years..

The thing I have noticed from Mo, Thad, and Martin is their defensive effort. It's picked up a notch over the past few games and I attribute it to one thing: Hope.

Ever since the vets started trickling back, with Rubio being the most critical one of course, it appears to be that these guys are putting out a lot more effort defensively. I think Young and Williams were so worn-down by the losing and being overmatched on most nights that it started to seep into their psyches. They just weren't willing to go into 5th gear knowing that it would be all for naught. That's no excuse given the paychecks these guys are pulling down, but it's also human nature. Corey Brewer might be the only guy in the NBA immune to this ailment....

Anywho, good to see that we controlled this game from wire to wire, without Rubio. Pekovic was a beast!

Q, you saw it too? What did you think of Andrew? It looked like he wasn't a rookie anymore to me. It seemed like we were watching the Wiggins circa 2017.

Nice write up Cool. It sure would be nice if big pek could give us 75 games, but I'm doubtful.

Meh. Keep in mind that Flip was forced to play Thad and Mo some big minutes and Mo especially was starting to get pretty beat up. Martin has always been a flake about defense. Thad's Mom died and he was playing next to Dieng and had a 19-year old rookie SG play the PG.

I don't know. In theory, I sympathize with the "there is no excuse!" sentiment, but practically speaking, I can also understand why these guys would struggle to get up for games. Human nature affects all walks of life, even the rich and famous.
