Re: NBA League Pass

A couple years ago when Ricky just got here, I wanted to see as much as I could. So I got the league pass (LP) via Comcast here in MN.
The problem that I encounter is that the league has some sort of a deal with the local tv stations so that if it's broadcast locally---you can't get it on LP. Similar to what Longstrange was saying. He lives in southern Cal., so he can't get the Clippers or Lakers.
I work a ton so what I was hoping for was the ability to see the replays of the games like at midnight when I have time. But since the the local team can NOT be seen on LP, it was a waste of money for me. Also, I believe the replays were in "normal" tv. Sounds crazy, but once you get the HD, you don't want to go back.
The best option for me---and that's to really only see our team---would be to get Tivo. I don't know your conditions---like where you live or if you want to see multiple teams. But mine was to get Tivo. Hope this helps.
