Just imagine if the Bucks hadn't let Brogdon walk...
An obvious blunder the moment they let it happen

Obviously not a fan of that move. But how much do you think it would take to get him?

The 17th overall pick and James Johnson sounds likely.

At least these moves are promising for our potential future rebuild if KAT/Russell don't work out. 3 first round picks and 2 swaps for Holiday means someone is gonna be desperate to give us a lot for Towns when/if the time comes.

Holy damn thats a ton to give up for Jrue and I love Jrue. But damn! Talk about pushing your chips in for losing against a loaded Brooklyn squad. Cant fault em for going for it but if Giannis walks they will be screwed giving up all those firsts.

Also imagine what it would take to get Booker or Simmons or Beal. We would have to deal 5 or 6 picks.

This deal should be a wake up call to anyone who thinks the Wolves have a reasonable shot at trading for Simmons or Beal who both have far greater market value than Holiday in my view. Again, there's no shortcut. The Wolves have to draft well. Rosas inherited perhaps the best offensive big-man in the game. He then traded away both of the Wolves draft picks in 2021 for DLO. He now has two first round picks, including the top pick as well as the third pick in the second round this year. He and his front office brain trust need to hit a home run or at least a triple in this draft. They have ample opportunity to do so with all their draft assets.
We'll see on Wednesday if all this talk about "process" "due diligence" "inclusion" and "alignment" has anything to do with exercising good judgment.

I will say that the D'Angelo Russell trade looks like an even bigger win in my view. That might turn out to be the only solid move in Gersson Rosas' tenure if all else fails. I know, I know... that trade isn't popular here.

If that's Rosas's biggest win, fire him already. I remain skeptical that DLO's presence will help much, if at all. A year from now, we should have a clearer picture of the trade. Rosas has to nail this draft and get a two way star.
