Actually the last time the Wolves summer league was good it was coached by Ryan Saunders led by Tyus Jones and literally a bunch of scrubs. Ah the good old days.

Here is the roster. No Jarrett Culver but his brother is playing. Also interesting they have McDaniels listed at 6'10". It will be interesting to see if that's the case when is the NBA as they have to actually list guys by an actual measurement now. Maybe he grew since the draft process last year.

He's a player that I liked as an undrafted free agent several years back and then as a two-way addition as recently as last year after his G-League stint. He's got that combo forward body type. He won't win anyone over with his offensive game, but Wooten is a hell of a defender. Along with Jaden McDaniels, Jaylen Nowell, McKinley Wright, and Nathan Knight, Wooten will be someone I key in on.

Where did he play college?

Oregon for 2 years...was all Pac 12 defense as a soph.

Thanks, I new he sounded familiar

If anyone likes watching a few blocked shots you may like this Wooten highlight video from his first year in the G-league.

The Wolves listed Jaden at 6-9 last year, but I saw him at 6-10 in most of his draft profiles.

I'm perhaps not as high on Bolmaro a some others, but I still find it odd that he is not playing summer league.

He's playing in the Olympics with Argentina, so I can see why he'd probably need a break after that.

Bolmaro is a 20-year-old kid who played 7 minutes the past two games in Japan before Argentina was eliminated. Does he really need a break? Would anyone here have passed up a chance to play in an NBA summer league at age 20 just because we had warmed the bench for a week in Japan? I don't know if this was Rosas's decision or Bolmaro's, but it seems quite odd to me.

Bold prediction: JJ Culver dominates Summer League and goes on to become an NBA star. His brother Jarrett retires from basketball and becomes his brother's agent.

The summer league is a nice event and all, but Bolmaro was a regular rotational player in the highest level of European ball for his club over the past year. He has seen tougher competition and more rigorous training methods than whatever will happen in summer league. His club season ended in mid-June and shortly thereafter he started training and playing games with his national team. Compare this to someone like McDaniels, who hasn't played a high-level game since mid-May. Big difference.
