If this guy has the value of JJ or Ridnour it would be a nice signing. Those guys had value the problem was they were asked to either start or be the top guy on the bench unit. That wasn't them. I watched his highlight real from 2019-2020 he has some pretty impressive passes. He isn't big but looks like he has some quickness and looks plenty strong. He isn't 6' but I don't think he is 5'9" unless that's just without shoes. The fact that the Wolves are interested in this guy tellS me they aren't gonna just take this next season as a developmental year Only having young guys again. I wonder what it will cost to sign him. I don't think it will be a ton of money but I'm curious. He could be a nice value guy I could see him bringing a lot of the same value that Tyus Jones did.

As long as he doesn't get minutes over J-Mac I'm good with it.

If this guy plays well enough to deserve minutes I might be ok with it but I do want J-mac to play.

McLaughlin has some Patty Mills, Frank VanVleet in him. It'd be an absolute shame if the Wolves let him walk or brought someone in to surpass him in the rotation. That's just my take. He's a keeper.

Jon K said a few weeks ago that the Wolves love J-Mac but were looking to add a vet PG to the mix. That makes sense I mean we love J-mac but its possible he isn't actually any good and they would be left with nothing at the backup PG position. I get no sense they are going to let him walk this year at least. Remember there are a few people in the organization that were with him when he was with the Nets the previous season. I think he is a keeper too. It will be interesting to see what they do with 2 way contracts.

Here is a question for you thats kinda off topic but just occurred to me looking at the roster and contracts. would you rather keep Spellman or resign Jauncho? For the resign it can be whatever you want it to be. Spellman could be a fallback option in case someone throws dumb money at Juancho. Also would you pick up the team option for Spellman for the 2021-2022 season for 3.5 million? I like both guys for different reasons if the price is right. Spellman does seem a lot like Naz but I think he is more of guy that can play more as a PF than Naz though.

That would be odd if J-Mac wasn't any good based on what he showed last year. He was too productive and way too efficient especially as a rookie. I'd go as far as saying that he was our second or third best player some nights, though I admit that's not saying a ton for a team that finished 19-45. But it does indicate that he's probably a solid rotation player. I also think he'll be cheap to bring back, which adds to the positives. I'd love for Rosas to lock him up on a deal similar to Naz Reid's.

And man, it would definitely come down to the dollars for me. I like Omari Spellman more than the next guy it seems, and while I think Juan Hernangomez brings some legit value to the Wolves I believe he's a player you don't want to overpay because he's very much replaceable.

If I had it my way, I'd choose neither and allocate their money towards Jerami Grant, but assuming the Wolves get outbid there I'd take Hernangomez on a three-year, $18-million deal -- or just under what Nemanja Bjelica got from the Kings.

I agree totally, Cam. They should have signed him already and they'd better not let him walk. I suspect Campazzo won't amount to anything. Just a gut feeling based, in part, on the fact that we've never heard of any NBA teams interested in signing him. And if he's truly just 5'9, that gives rise to further doubts.

Regarding J-Mac, I'll add that he was a key to the Wolves two signature wins following the trade deadline, i.e., the home win over the Clippers and the road win over Miami. In fact, he made the two winning offensive plays down the stretch against Miami. And Russell didn't play in the game against the Clippers. J-Mac's quickness and savvy are qualities the Wolves desperately need. I do see J-Mac as our VanVleet.

Ya the Spurs and Mavs also extremely interested. Knicks also reported.

Sounds like he wants to come to the wolves because of Pablo Pridgioni. But I feel better that two extremely smart organizations in the spurs and mavs want him and he played on one of the best teams in Europe
