The players protests are sure to be peaceful, as in what they did today. If that was the case nationwide we would be much better off. It's been said that rioting is the voice of the unheard. I'm pretty confident everyone who needs to be heard has been at this time. Enough violence, it's time to outline some real steps for change and start implementing them. I'll do what I'm asked to do short of taking a knee. We can't continue to have our cities burned to the ground every time some knucklehead does something stupid against the black community. Life happens, mistakes happen, you have to be able to discriminate between when it's time for drastic action and when a calmer response is more appropriate. The divide is getting wider every day, and that's not going to automatically change. We have to start working together on a solution at some point, or this country is toast.

Sadly... as I've whined about a lot recently...
Compromise is a position of weakness in today's society. We see it at the top. We see it by the plebs online.
Eventually, it'll be the way out. But the cynic in me doesn't see it happening soon.

Oh no!!!
I was not going to watch NBA in August anyways. I would rather watch Yellowstone reruns.

Haven't looked... but have they broken down the ratings by time slot? I don't doubt politics plays a role here...
But NBA playoff games have never been played at 1:30 on a Tuesday either.
Would be curious to see how the primetime slots are faring, because that seems like an apple to apple comparison.

I don't think it is politics either. For me as a fan. I just don't think the players care about winning and losing anymore. They are to friendly with other teams in the NBA. They could just play the 4th quarter since the first 3 don't matter because they are walking through the motions.
Yellow Season 3 finally crushed it.

Abe is out of touch on a great many things. This is the first I'm hearing of Yellowstone.

It is a good drama. Cowboys, Indians, and Big Business battling for one thing.
Taylor Sheridan production.
If you like the movie Wind River you will like Yellowstone.

The players are meeting tonight. I think the rest of this season will be cancelled and we won't have a 2020 NBA champion. I don't have an opinion on whether the playoffs should continue or not. That's up to the players and the League and both options have merit. I just want this Country to get a grip and come together.

Please tell me you're aware of the show Vikings! Ragnar Lothbrok would not be pleased to hear otherwise!
