I'd assume David Vanterpool finally gets his shot. He's interviewed for other head coaching positions throughout the league. This is at least an audition for him heading into the off-season. I can't imagine anyone else on that bench getting the opportunity over him nor is it conceivable that they'd bring someone from the outside in.

Edit: Chris Finch has been hired? Um, okay?

So we'll have three head coaches on our payroll - two former ones and the newest one, lol. Go Wolves.

Chris Finch was an assistant in Houston for five years. My first reaction is that this is nepotism with a twist. He's probably buddy buddy with Gersson Rosas.

Rosas was just waiting for the go ahead from Glenn.

He had his boy just waiting there for the knife to drop on Ryan.

If Ryan wasn't so terrible I might feel bad

This is like breaking up with your girlfriend and then getting married 10 minutes later.

Of course he's linked to Houston, a team that was largely built off of the singular talent of James Harden and with no discernible offensive system other than switch-hunting for Harden and whichever other ball handler he was paired with. Let's hope Finch learned something while in Toronto because I think we've gotten about as much juice as possible out of the Houston connections.

Cam, I told you Ryan wouldn't be the coach next year.
