No Dieng means no Ibaka. They aren't trading Ibaka without getting an established player back to help them with their run and Dieng is the only established player we have that would fit a hole on that team in the trade.

Not necessarily. If Durant has given them any inkling that he is gone then a trade like this makes a lot of sense. They have Westbrook for at least one more season to keep them competitive, but they would have to consider moving forward with neither Westbrook or Durant. A #5 pick for Ibaka would be outstanding value for them given what we Atlanta got for Teague.

What about that Chinese kid that's like 25 but is pretending to be 20? He is a stick figure but if he could put on weight he seems like an interesting gamble at #26

In that scenario, I would have to think about packaging 24 and 26 together for Brookyn and get Jarrett Jack and 20.

I like Jack and would not mind that trade. The issue for me is with Noel and Jack both being possible 1 year rentals. I'd rather take my chances on 2 first round players and 1 possible single year rental in Noel.

I would only do it of they absorb Peks contract.

Pek, Payne, Rudez & 5th for Noel, Sauskas, Marshall, 24th & 26th

The Sixers have found that the market for Noel isn't very good. At this point, #5 would be too much to give up for Noel.

If he comes with those later picks, pull the trigger.

Grab Prince and Brogdon, two well rounded seniors who project to be 3 and D role players along with Noel would be a steal. We could probably have the top defense next season with that roster and Thibs.
