Bleed - Take a look at video highlights of KBD from last season. He showed some really good stuff on both sides of the ball. There's a lot of upside there.

I'm sure after Fred Van Vliet's rookie year there were tons of Raptors fans that were like "FVV will be the first guard off the bench when we reach our first NBA Finals" yeah probably not but that's exactly what happened tonight. The thing is they don't have to even have big upside if you get them signed to reasonable deals and are legit NBA rotation players. Good backup PGs have a lot of value. Look at FVV or Corey Joseph. What if KBD is just the next Jerebko? Not bad. And who knows what team might want one of those guys when they are still youngish and promising in a trade where we get a better player? Build the damn roster with legit NBA players especially on good contracts. It's especially important with Wiggins (and Towns even though he deserves it) taking up so much money on the cap.

You both are probably right. The Wolves just tend to have guys playing in a role that is too much for them. Then we make the mistake of overpaying guys that produce in those roles. I think for me I just see these level guys are more interchangeable then unreplaceable.

Jeff Van Gundy agrees with you.
