Josh Jackson - just got arrested today so he's probably done
A couple guys already had their change of scenery like Thon Maker, Oubre, Otto Porter, Julius Randle, DSJ, Stanley Johnson, Russell as you mentioned.
We don't really have the trade assets for buy low guys. We have expensive guys and rookie deals so unless you want to lose a pick for one of those guys outside of Booker I don't see that as worth it.

What was Josh Jackson arrested for? I read vague reports about Jackson having character issues coming out of college. So I'm not surprised.
Devin Booker and Brandon Ingram are the guys who interest me. Not sure how we'd get them.

Felony escape and misdemeanor resisting arrest.

Cops were called in when he repeatedly tried to enter a restricted VIP room at a music festival. He wouldnt cease, so they put him in cuffs. Then he ran while cuffed trying to escape custody. Not the brightest bunny in the forest.

i don't want Ingram anywhere near this team.
He wasn't all that great when he played and now he has an injury that could derail his career. On top of that it's extension time with his contract.
If we're talking free agents, obviously a lot of player movement has to happen before we can fully get anything out of adding talent outside the organization, but say we move Saric or even a Dieng, Frank Kaminsky in the role he's in would work well here. His per 36's are solid, shoots solidly, and doesn't need high usage and could be our Kelly Olynyk.
If the Wolves were to let Rose AND Jones go, I'm not against signing Quinn Cook as a backup to whoever our PG of the future is.
The biggest name however who I would pursue to the high heavens is Angel Delgado. He's a PF for the Clippers, won G-League rookie of the year. He's 24 years old and a rebounding machine. He's also Towns' DR national teammate. Advanced numbers will blow you away and his G-League numbers were
18.5 ppg
14.8 rpg
2.8 apg
62%fg
He's Montrezl Harrell all over again. He's the #1 player I want this team to sign, period. He's so what this team needs, I'd feel like we're wasting a pick going after a Clarke or a Hachimura who I like. Use our picks on guards, sign this guy and we'll have a group of young guys outside of Wiggins worth being optimistic about.

Sure draft a guy with off the court issues at #4 who also has some issues with his shot. Sure it will work out. Meanwhile De'Aaron fox...the only thing he isn't better than Jackson at is getting arrested.
Also Jordon Bell has some issues. The latest thing I remember was he charged a bunch of stuff from his hotel room to Mike Brown. Personally I'd avoid both of these guys at this point and look elsewhere for reclamation projects although I do really like the angle of this thread.

Also when I saw this thread I honestly thought someone else was leaving the board or maybe someone was finally deciding to choose another NBA franchise to follow. Lol

Sorry to disappoint. :-)
I am just curious who might be an option. I remember Khan getting Michael Beasley for nothing and thinking we had something. I hope we can find guys that might not fit somewhere else but fit perfectly here. The Twins seem to have found a little success there this year.

I like the Angel Delgado idea. He has short arms, but he's ferocious on the boards. He'd much-needed rebounding and toughness on a low-cost contract.
Ingram's injury doesn't appear to be career-threatening. His blood lot was apparently a structural issue, not a blood chemistry issue like it was with Bosh. As a result, Ingram's surgery to remove the clot solved the problem going forward by correcting the structural issue that caused the clot. Otherwise, I'll agree that he's been underwhelming so far. But so was D'Angelo Russell before the Nets nabbed him. So I'd still explore the possibility of acquiring him.
