Our new plan is to go if Bolmaro and at least one of Ant, Jaden and Nowell commit to play. I actually wouldn't be shocked if Culver plays despite being a third year player, since he has never played in Summer League before. I would love to see at least Bolmaro and Jaden. I also hope that the top 3 draft picks all play in Las Vegas (instead of the other site in Utah) if we go.
I wonder if Bolmaro will play after a lengthy season with a number of postseason tourneys and then playing in the olympics especially since he is playing for Prigioni for Argentina.
I see no reason why Culver wouldn't play if he is healthy unless he sucks so bad it would actually hurt his trade value. Lol I still have just a faint glimmer of hope Culver is healthy and breaks out to some extent...although the way the roster is contracted currently...that seems unlikely.
It sorta feels like a Nowell and Reid have been around for lengthy amount of time but they are going into year 3 so I would imagine Nowell plays considering he hasn't gotten a lot of opportunities at the NBA level but Reid has. It sounds like they are going to have McDaniels play. If Edwards is the guy we assume he is he might play a couple games but will not play anymore after that and they give other guys opportunities.
The Wolves will likely have at least one 2-way guy signed and will maybe bring in some other moderately intriguing guys whether they are rookies or otherwise. It will be somewhat beneath him but honestly I wish McLaughlin could play he would really help the team as a true PG with a variety of skills. I assume they will add an accomplished college PG to the roster for that purpose although Nowell might get chances to run the team.
I'm going to check airfare and accommodations tonight and this weekend and make a decision whether to go to Vegas in August. If prices are good I'm leaning towards going. :) Based on my early research I was thinking of doing an Airbnb as they are closer to the venue than the cheaper hotels. If anyone has tips or ideas on what to do on the trip I would be open. I'm basically wanting to be on a budget but probably not interested in being so frugal to do something like a hostal. Lol not worth it.

August 8-17 are the dates. If I understood correctly when I read the other day it's a little different format this year than when they used to have a tourney at the end. Now the 5th game is a championship game (2 teams with best record) and everyone else plays one more consultation game. I kinda miss the tourney aspect although I wouldn't have been there this year either way. :)
Thanks for wishing me luck. I'm hoping to show my game to some international rec leagues. Hopefully they are interested in a guy that's making a comeback after not playing for like a year and a half. Lol
