And check this out.

Heat now owes first-round picks to Clippers in 2021 (unprotected) and 2023 (lottery protected through 2025, unprotected in 2026). As a result, for at least the next 4 years, they won't be able to trade a future first-round pick unconditionally until 2028. That's 9 years from now!

Riley will be gone by then... what's he care.

Wow, is that Heat team going to be bad. I can't wait to watch the Butler implosion. I am saying he asks out of Miami before game 30. Over/Under of 30?

So the Suns basically paid the Jazz to take Josh Jackson off their hands so they would have cap space to sign Ricky Rubio...

Suns are trying to build a culture.

They wanted nothing to do with dlo because he would be a bad influence on booker.

Then they got rid of the guy that gets his 4 month old high.

I said the same thing in a different thread. He won't stay all year.

Rubio could be good for Phoenix at this stage in their development. Booker and Ayton could use a little help getting set up. They've got shooters and an elite finisher around the rim in Ayton. Could be fun. Not sure about defense, but offensively I think these guys take a major step forward.

I have no problem with them getting rid of Jackson. I was the guy that was basically dumbfounded that NBA teams were willing to draft that knucklehead top 5 in the draft. My problem is paying to get rid of him. If they really wanted him gone they could simply cut him. They are a young team paying assets to get off a contract so they can pay Ricky Rubio 51 million? Rubio might be good for them and maybe they didn't give up a whole lot but it seemed...like poor asset management to me. This isn't the first time this offseason they have been questioned for that. Hopefully it all works out. I do agree they are bringing in some good dudes and that's certainly not a bad thing.
