Re: Wolves sign Jordan Bell
This is a good deal for MN, we get a player known for solid defense that is young and might grow with an expanded role. More players like this and vets that are good in the locker room and can help grow the young players we have please.

Solid defense and might grow... so better than Andrew Wiggins already!

Haha. Did Andrew put back his Wolves affiliations on social media yet?
Re: Wolves sign Jordan Bell
Good signing.
Bell was the guy I wanted the summer we traded for Butler. I recall lamenting that Thibodeau didn't get Chicago to include their 2nd round pick (a high one) in the Butler deal. I concluded at the time that there was no way the Bulls were going to torpedo the deal based on the Wolves insistence that they include their 2nd round pick. As it turned out, the Bulls ended up selling that pick to GS for cash and the Warriors used it to draft Jordan Bell. As Crazy pointed out, he was the Brandon Clarke of that draft.
Well, we finally got him. :) A game-changer? No. But a nice pick-up.

Solid defense is a stretch. They pulled him in the finals because he would lose guys because he wasn't paying attention. In theory he has the tools. From what I've read and heard he doesn't have a great attitude and from what I've seen he has mental lapses which you can't have as a bench piece who only plays limited minutes to begin with.

Yup, he was absolutely the guy I wanted with that 2nd too. Unfortunately,, Khansy is right....he has turned out to be not the brightest bulb in the box. I have little hope our culture will get the most out of him, but I guess there isn't much to lose. He's still young (ish) and the tools are there.

He was suspended this year to ordering hotel room service on Mike Brown's room. Actually pretty smart, I'd be inclined to do the same with how much $$$ Mike Brown has stolen from the league.

Lol. Best laugh I've had in a while.

Napier and Treveon Graham as well.
It feels like we are acquiring pieces for moves.
Culver will be late to Vegas awaiting league approval... or who knows . . . packaged with others?

I think the possible positive here COULD be he may actually get consistent playing time. What I remember hearing is Kerr would sorta switch around who would play the other big man spot all the time. I have similar concerns but maybe a more regular role might help. Still it was the Warriors pulling a guy. We are a team that would be thrilled to make the playoffs. He might be pretty useful to a team like us. He is sort of the profile of the type of guy this team needs.
